Chris Brown grew up in Asbury Park, NJ followed by several years in Ocean Twp, NJ.  He spent 7 years in NYC as a student/teacher, only to return to this city by the sea.  He loves the ocean and it called him home.  Chris picked up the guitar at 16 and has been writing songs ever since.  His songs tell stories. Some of them are personal while others come from stories of friends, family, and people he has been lucky to meet (most of the time). Sometimes Chris plays a harmonica or a ukulele onstage. Sometimes he has friends come up and sing. Regardless it;s always a damned good time. Come out to a show, say hey, and sing along if you know the words and get strange.
